School Based Traineeships

Gain a nationally recognised qualification by combining employment and training.

Our school-based traineeships allow students in Years 10 or 11 to work for an employer and train towards a recognised qualification, while completing high school.

Advantages of school-based traineeships:

The flexibility and variety of this learning approach has enormous benefits for young people who prefer hands-on learning to traditional schooling pathways.
Young people employed as school-based trainees develop workplace skills, knowledge and confidence and have a competitive edge when applying for jobs.
A school-based traineeship can lead directly to full-time employment once a student has left school.
Students attain a nationally recognised qualification, that also counts towards their ATAR.
School-based trainees are paid while they learn workplace skills, gain confidence, and adapt to a work environment.

Certificate III in Hospitality	Maroochydore	Fast Food	Busy takeaway/dine in and drive through outlet. Customer service, food preparation, cleaning, register operations.
Certificate III in Hospitality	Marcoola/Buderim, Warana, Bokarina	Fast Food	Predominantly Takeaway business with small dine in area. Food preparation, customer service, register operations. May include additional hours. Multiple positions.
Certificate III in Hospitality	Glasshouse and Beerwah	Fast Food	Busy dine in and takeaway located on Bruce Highway. Also located in Beerwah. Customer service, food preparation. Multiple positions.
Certificate III in Hospitality	Caloundra	Fast Food	Dine in and takeaway outlet seeking a motivated and friendly team member. One day per week plus additional hours if keen. Food prep, customer service, register usage, cleaning.
