Do you need funding assistance? How much you’ll pay depends on whether the course you choose attracts government subsidies.

Eligible students may be able to access a range of funding to help subsidise part or all of the cost of your training.

Look Now Training is a Skills Assure supplier, approved by the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training to deliver subsidised courses to eligible Queenslanders.

During the enrolment process, we assess student eligibility to determine any funding options applicable to you.

Students undertaking courses which do not receive Government subsidies can access our payment plan options.

Look Now Training course related image

VET in Schools (VETiS)

To access this funding students must currently be attending
High School and select a qualification listed on
the Department of Employment, Small Business and
Training VET Priority Skills List.

Through Look Now Training students can undertake
a VETiS funded qualification:

  • As part of their school studies, where Look Now Training teaches a class group on campus (Certificate level I or II applicable)
  • By enrolling in a qualification directly with Look Now Training and completing the qualification as an elective or similar (Certificate level I or II applicable).
  • As a school-based apprentice or trainee (Certificate level III applicable).

Certificate 3 Guarantee

The Certificate 3 Guarantee is a Queensland Government initiative which helps support eligible students to complete their first post-school Certificate III qualification.

Through the Certificate 3 Guarantee subsidy, the Queensland Government will contribute to the cost of your course, significantly reducing your out-of-pocket expenses.

Eligible students will still be required to contribute to the cost of their training through a co-contribution fee. The amount you need to contribute will vary depending on your chosen course.

Students who hold a healthcare or pension concession card, or identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, may be eligible for a higher subsidy amount.

To be eligible for the Certificate 3 Guarantee you must meet the following criteria:

  • Not hold or be currently enrolled in a certificate III or higher level qualification (does not include qualifications completed in secondary school)
  • Be 15 years or older
  • Have completed or left secondary school
  • Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident residing in Queensland, or New Zealand citizen permanently residing in Queensland

User Choice

Through the User Choice program the Queensland Government provides a funding contribution towards the cost of training for eligible Queensland Apprentices and Trainees.

The program works in conjunction with the Commonwealth Australian Apprenticeships System, under which Apprentices and Trainees commit to training contracts with an employer to earn and learn, whilst simultaneously training through Look Now Training to achieve a nationally recognised qualification.

Eligible students are required to contribute to the cost of their training through a co-contribution fee. The amount you need to contribute will vary depending on your chosen course.

Students who hold a healthcare or pension concession card, or identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, may be eligible for a higher subsidy amount.

To be eligible for User Choice Funding you must meet the following criteria:

  • Enter into a training contract for a qualification that is funded by the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training, and
  • Be registered in the department’s registration system DELTA for this qualification.

Further Information

Higher Skills Funding

As a Skills Assure provider, Look Now Training is able to offer students access to the Higher Level Skills program providing eligible students access to subsidised training for selected Certificate IV and higher level qualifications.

The aim is to assist students to gain the advanced skills required to secure career progression in priority industries, or to transition into university.

Students undertaking training must contribute to their training costs through a co-contribution fee. The co-contribution fee may be paid on behalf of the student by an employer or another third party.

To be eligible for Higher Skills Funding you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a Queensland resident
  • Be aged 15 years or over, and no longer at school
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident (including humanitarian entrants), or a temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency
  • Not hold, or be enrolled in, a certificate IV level or higher qualification (not including qualifications completed at school and foundations skills training).

Job Trainer

Fee-free training is available for selected short courses and certificates currently in demand by industry through the Job Trainer program.

These training places are providing skills needed to find work as Queensland’s economy recovers from the impacts of COVID-19.

 

As a Skills Assure supplier, Look Now Training is able to offer students the CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support under this funding program.

Mid-Career Checkpoint Program

Have you taken time out of the workforce to care for your family and are now looking to return to paid employment or advance your career?

The Mid-Career Checkpoint Program is an Australian Government initiative that provides a free skills and employment assessment to help you identify your training, employment and career goals.

All participants receive a customised Skills, Training and Employment Plan (STEP) that details their employment goals, identifies their attributes, skills, and qualifications, as well as any skills gaps  and may also be eligible to access up to $3,000 in funding towards accredited training.

Payment Plans

We have a variety of payment plans
to suit all budgets including:

PLAN 1:

Equal payment over the course duration.
For example, 4 term payments over a
12 month course.

PLAN 2:

Equal fortnightly or monthly credit card payments
over the course duration.

Please note: Once you have completed your studies, fees must be paid in full prior to Look Now Training issuing your Statement of Attainment.
