Through the User Choice program the Queensland Government provides a funding contribution towards the cost of training for eligible Queensland Apprentices and Trainees.
The program works in conjunction with the Commonwealth Australian Apprenticeships System, under which Apprentices and Trainees commit to training contracts with an employer to earn and learn, whilst simultaneously training through Look Now Training to achieve a nationally recognised qualification.
Eligible students are required to contribute to the cost of their training through a co-contribution fee. The amount you need to contribute will vary depending on your chosen course.
Students who hold a healthcare or pension concession card, or identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, may be eligible for a higher subsidy amount.
